School Resource Chaplains meet Constitutional Guidelines for involvement in Public Schools..

Selection and Training...

  • Individually selected and properly screened
  • Trained according to the highest standards
  • Receive expert instruction in issues relating to domestic violence, youth violence, gangs, missing children, and School Resource Chaplains Protocols
  • Under the supervision of a Senior Chaplain


What Chaplains Do...

  • Offer appropriate casual counseling
  • Support steady attendance and good study habits
  • Listen to concerns
  • Show genuine friendship
  • Give students and staff their time

  • Supporting and working with programs such as Peace Keepers to keep students out of gangs.
  • Supporting positive choices and personal responsibility.

  • Helping students get into the main stream of student life by encouraging participation in positive projects.
